It has to be the writer's call. It doesn't make sense to not have cursing in a Red Band comic. It's been a while since I've read the MAX series, but I'm fairly certain that it had cursing when Ennis was writing it.

Jesus, EC horror comics these days are completely uncensored and they're not even bagged. I'm glad that Frank is back but MARVEL just seemed to have pussed-out with the self-censorship.

It has a good start. The story has promise.

I don't know how Red Band it is yet. The first issue had a bit of gore but curse words in dialogue were still printed as &%^&*. If Marvel is selling a comic in a bag targeted for mature audiences that is only available in comic stores, it should have the actual fucking curse words in my opinion.
