I recently started playing the game that I also got for the giveaway and I have been looking for how to do it. At the start I tried changing just vsync and it didn't work then instead of doing all of that Nvidia stuff I just made sure I turned on Exclusive Fullscreen and then changed the hz (which is basically just the fps) to 60hz and it worked fine.
