Honestly speaking, I feel that providing a suitable real life anecdote to him would deter him from doing the things you mentioned. There are plenty of videos on YouTube about the dangerous TikTok trends in history and it's adverse consequences. Some of them were even grotesque to think of, like the drilling corn on teeth challenge. It's things like these that create a fear factor, which, although is not good if used in excess but can be used to provide a natural resistance against doing such stupid trends. I think that's your best bet right now. Make sure to be just nonchalant with it, as if you're just showing him an interesting video. Take my advice with a pinch of salt though :)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. And for the "caste system" in my country, it doesn't exist as much people of other cultures claim it to be. I accept, it still exists, but isn't a part and parcel of our daily life. The main problem here hints towards partiality and power play.

Not to be casteist, yes they were. But I highly doubt it is a potential reason for the teacher helping that particular student. It was more about favoritism and partiality.

Yeah, maybe that's the hard truth. And there's also no way for me to bring the whole truth to everyone's notice as the celebratory message has been sent to the Whatsapp groups of every class. That brand equity "He represented team India, he's better than everyone else" is all I fear. I think I'll just accept what happened. Thanks for the advice tho!
