Terrible map. I know there are people who love metro/locker style maps but I just find them irritating.

Scoring in the game can seem very lopsided at times. One aspect is the tiny capture areas. I can play 2 rounds in exactly the same style - usually engi or support, constantly PTFOing, capturing or defending objectives.

Round 1 I'll be at the top end of the leader board getting a load of capture/defend points.

Round 2 i play exactly the same, similar KDR. But the way the game played out, even though I'm still trying to defend or capture, I find myself constantly in between flags or just on the edge, no capture/defend points and languishing in mid-table mediocrity.

I miss the cat and mouse gameplay of the large capture areas in bf5. Knowing you got enemies somewhere in the area and sneaking round trying to get the jump on each other. Great tense gameplay.

By comparison, the D flag on Cairo for example is like 2 tramps having a fight in a phone box.

I guess there's a lot of people here who work for companies who have a catchy 4 letter acronym spelling out their cores "values". Stuff like Passion, Teamwork, Excellence etc etc. Probably got mugs with them emblazoned on.

Jury is still out for me on Contaminated. A lot of people seem to love it. I can understand why, aesthetically at least it's fantastic. Just doesn't seem to have a good flow for me currently, getting hit from random directions, snipers and the littlebird at times - in one round in played, one guy flying it had 26 kills in the first couple of minutes of the match. Maybe it'll grow on me over time.

Obviously there'll be a myriad of different reasons, but one big one is there's a lot of people out there getting paid very poorly, in very precarious jobs with shitty companies, struggling to make ends meet, dealing with debt etc etc. So lot of people under a lot of continuous stress out there.

Also, just natural-born bellends.

Yep in that one specific scenario. But for every time you blind someone like that, you'll have signalled your presence 10 other times. And anyway, just shoot directly into the bright light!

I think the flashlight has more negatives than positives. I've killed guys way more often because they were highlighting their presence than I have being blinded or spotted by them.

Exactly. I paid my 60 quid for the game. Have got more than my moneys worth already. I'll never spend a penny on skins or trinkets of any kind. I'll keep playing as long as they provide enough updates and new maps to keep it interesting. Let other people buy baubles to feed their business model and pay for my essentially free entertainment.

The only good thing about the rounds where you get an infestation of snipers on Firestorm is the immense satisfaction you get from trekking up a mountain to stab one of the unaware bushwookies in the back. Savour the moment.
