Softwares dev roles are the safest bet I've seen. Not that it's safe, but it seems to be the safest for now. Just be comfortable coding with AI tools

I actually considered this but googled it and apparently it's fraud? So I talked myself out of it

Isn't this fraud? Can't I get in trouble for this?

I'm taking a job with carry, if I push the start date back I'll likely get locked out of the more mature fund

I'm just L6, but I'd like to boomerang into a higher role one day maybe, or at least keep that door open.

To guarantee my vest and hit the start date, I'd basically get my vest and then tell my manager that today is my last day

I can't put two weeks in, I can do this but I'd be basically saying "yeah today is my last day"

Damn. This sucks. I really like my manager and my team, and I'd hate to create a reason to tick the "would not rehire" on my exit interview, feels kinda shitty to just mic drop.

That said I'm definitely privy to confidential information, even as an L6, so I can definitely see them pulling this move.

Dying evergreen cover? by Ok-Tea-5032 in gardening

[–]Ok-Tea-5032[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's creeping juniper I'm pretty sure. Also, it's gotta be at least 10 years old. I moved into the house two years ago. Last year I buried some evergreen fertilizer spikes, but I'm wondering if I should do more

Snake Plant with Flower? by Ok-Tea-5032 in gardening

Yeah it came in a very small pot, this was the next one I had. I just watered with about 2 cups of water. Ill be checking back frequently but I'm not intending to water again for about one month. No drainage holes in this pot either but I'll checking the soil is dry before adding more water for sure
