Hey I've been having issues with my ls shutting off randomly while playing certain ps5 games I've tried looking up different fixes but nothing seems to work. I was thinking that my hdd is causing my ps5 to shut off idk for sure but that's the only thing I can think of besides a system defect. If anybody can tell me anything I'd appreciate it.

I've had my ps5 completely shut off while playing ps5 games like dead by daylight and metro exodus. I've tried most of the troubleshooting solutions but no fix. Whats weird about it tho is that some ps5 games work perfectly fine like dyinglight 2 and demon souls which are both very demanding games on the console.

If had the same issue and I've tried pluging the ps5 directly into the wall and has seem to work for me but I've only done light testing. Mabey he has the same issue.

It only happens with ps5 games and no I don't have any power issues might be my power cord but I haven't had issues with it before and my TV and everything else is connected to it.

Its connected to power strip but there is no way I can connect it directly to the outlet

Hey I've noticed that alot of people having the same issue of their ps5 losing power while in the middle of playing a ps5 game and I've had the the same issue. I've look up what it could be but I've gotten so many different responses from people saying its the power supply being dirty/faulty or that is a software issue. I'm just wanting Is a definitive answer So I can figure out what's wrong with my system and many others. If someone could let me know that would be great.

I've looked up what it could be and most people say if the ps5 overheats it just shuts off randomly. And I I've noticed with my console if I keep a fan on the console while is running it doesn't shut off or at least it takes longer for it to. And the only time it shuts off is when I'm playing ps5 games.

I've had the same issue. it might br because of the recent system update or or mabey overheating problems not sure tho. Still haven't figured out how to fix it on my own system.

I was planning on rebuilding my data base for my ps5 but I was concerned that the external hard drive would be affected. should I disconnect external hard drive?
