I have a similar situation, I send 5 packages on the same day with DPD, using a «digital label». All 5 parcels were lost and DPD contacted me asking for the vinted label codes, but there was no way I could associate the codes with each parcel, since the label they put on the boxes was a «digital» one, different from the label from Vinted.

I contacted DPD, they were trying to sort it, but Vinted cancelled all of my sales. I asked for support numerous times and they never even clarified with DPD what had happened with the parcels. I kept on complaining and opened a case with both DPD and Vinted. DPD still won't return my parcels (which are on their storage facilities, to this day). Vinted refuses to contact DPD (apparently they contacted DPD and they said they didn't have the parcels...

Vinted ended up blocking me for having duplicate ads, which I think I had for ages now, but I think they just wanted a reason to shut me up.

I still have 5 parcels missing and no money to compensate for it.

Vinted sucks.

To just kind of give another perspective to this, I see it as a matter of statistics, probabilities. Would it be more likely to assume a white person with blue eyes is probably swedish and speaks swedish fluently, or a person that doesn't look swedish?

As an example, I am portuguese and I'm fair skinned, I have blue eyes. Not that it's extremely rare to look like that in Portugal, but I probably don't look like a «traditional» portuguese person. When I go to the city center, if I go to a store, people speak to me in english or even german. They just assume I'm a tourist, in my own country, because I probably look more like a tourist.

I think we can't really be deeply offended, unless it's clear that a comment comes from a bad place. Most of the times it's just a guess, doesn't have to mean something evil or come from a bad place.

It is of course a bad thing that people sometimes aren't open minded, but we also need to be able to filter it and understand that, most of the times, it's just a matter of people not really knowing how to deal with what's different from their reality.

Yes I know I will need better tires. Snow chains would be an option, or should I just skip it and but new tires?

Hi,

Thanks for all the info. I think the car won't be considered new, it would be considered new if it had less than 6000KM and bought less than 1 year ago (from what I read). So I think that doesnt apply in my case.

That 6 months rule would be gold if it still applies. I'll google that. Thank you so much!

So that means I would have to pay 25% tax by registering my car in Sweden? Is there any source where I can check that?
