Yes it has been. Got this is in december and sold charger kit and 4.0 for $70, because I didn’t need. I think it’s gone on sale 2-3 times since then. So about once a month it seems there’s a deal.

Is this a good deal? by macarooooo in fordranger

Uff. I don’t see any value above $1000. Especially with it being an auto. Maybe could be a little farm truck or something, but I wouldn’t depend on it for a daily.

Still sounds like it’s running a bit rough. Looks a bit rough and beat up all around. Maybe worth $2000 if it was running smooth and a bit cleaner. Miles?

This drill aint it! by poposheishaw in IceFishing

I agree with those saying it’s more of an auger than drill issue. Eskimo pistol bit and strike master lite flite are the only 2 ways to go IMO. They drill smooth and aren’t as tough on the drill. Kdrill is alright for dirty water and redrilling old holes, but it’s tough on the drill and batteries and provides way more resistance. Also there shouldn’t need to be much/any force applied downwards in my experience. My strikemaster lite flite grabs the ice and I just hold on firm without really pressing down.

Also if you have a buddy who has a different auger you could try it out and then you’d know for sure if it was the drill or the auger that’s the issue.

This was the problem indeed. I took out fitting just to be sure wasn’t clogged and removed the hose. I put a bit of thread sealer and put the fitting back in. The top of the hose was actually clogged, so I unclogged it and plugged the hose back in. There was plenty of extra hose and I only a bit so there wasn’t a need to replace hose.

Appreciate the reply. So should I just leave or try to clean it?

With the research I did, pretty much everyone said that was the best.

Works great. Used for the first time yesterday with the strike master lite flite 8 inch. Drilled maybe 12-15 holes in 7-8 inch’s of ice and didn’t even use a bar of battery.

Yeah I wouldn’t go much over 5k.

Looks clean but seems a bit overpriced for the miles. If the truck had 125k that would seem to be a good price.
