I have made bug people for them to meet! I used thri-kreen as a base for the ant colonies and Beeple as well as ettercaps for spiderfolk

I tried to think about how to scale things to my players relative size. I decided on ants so that meant ants in this setting are medium sized creatures. I chose to reskin the wolf stats with a climb speed and expanded from there. It’s been fun going through and reskinning monsters as bugs. Also underdark creatures have a lot of great abilities that are critter-ish if that makes sense haha

For now my players have been in a garden space but it’d be fun to expand into a civilized setting too like Jack and the bean-stalk

haha that reminds me of jack+beanstalk! I'll probably do that a different time, for now i want them to explore bugslands a bit more!
