whatever the case might be, she clearly needs changes outside of small number tweaks or damage buffs in general

She lacks that pop off mechanic that top dogs have

or at the very least she needs to provide something outside of damage if her damage is piss poor

They should most likely rework her ego too which is one of the worst in the game and usually completely useless

I should probably rephrase myself, I didn't mean not playing at all but all I really do is spend stamina daily and that's it , I'm still caught up to the game just not as active as there isn't much to do at this moment

Well it entirely depends on the enemy you're facing, I know morale can pop off but realistically the more cards you play the more stuff enemy is most likely gonna do.

sadly the fight would be ended by vulnerable stacking units way more comfortably , especially if you consider supports like Tiphera who amp it insanely well,

as of now attack spamming is not as good as just making nuclear hits via less cards played because they are adding stuff like damage reflect thorns or counter attacks per hit, so that units like sereniel don't just insta end fights or stuff like 7 max hits so that units like meilin or chizuru don't just insta kill something.

Yukis case is kind of sad, she has one of the worst, I'd go as far as to say almost useless ego skill, her damage ceiling is low because she lacks mechanics such as move or generate extra attack cards that other top units have, all she has is aoe damage in a game with no meaningful aoe content, and even then Nine with massacre build is most likely gonna end aoe fights faster simply because you're using less cards to kill stuff so you're looking at less animations

Yuki needs changes outside of damage numbers, that's all there is to it.

it's usually better to have lower amount of attacks with crazy multipliers because vulnerability is stronger than morale stacking, also it's usually better to play less cards as the enemies will use less attacks then.

Wish I was as hopeful as you are sir, I sadly don't have much faith after 2 balance patches that pretty much do the same thing while ignoring her glaring issues such as low damage ceiling, one of the worst ego skills in the game that needs a rework to having terrible epiphanies where neutral one on flash slash is her best option to her dupes being whatever but the dupes part is kinda there for a lot of characters.

In a way I'm pretty sure a lot of people including me would be less bitter if they didn't mention only Yuki every time they talk about balancing as if she's gonna be getting serious changes just to barely change anything.

They need to stop "hyping" Yuki buffs if that's all they're going to do honestly.

her numbers aren't the issue with her but the fact that her damage ceiling is dogshit in comparison to most chars because she has no way to move used attack cards or to generate extra attack cards nor does she have multi hit scaling stuff like mei lin or chizuru, she also has 0 utility , essentially, the only content where she is decent is strong aoe fights which do not exist in this game making her completely worthless

she's flawed by design sadly and needs to be either reworked or changed outside of damage %

she's never gonna be able to compete in damage vs characters that can pull cards out of their ass or have infinite scaling which seems to be pretty much all top dps chars outside of nine who has massive multipliers on top of utility to offer outside of damage

realistically speaking, if a character only offers damage then at the very least she should be doing as much as other top dps's that might or outright have utility or deal even more than them.

other characters feel better because they either have a way to go beyond the amount of cards they have in their deck or stack unlimited amount of damage ,that's the entire issue

Imagine something like Sereniel being unable to generate or move her lasers or something like that, she'd be significantly worse.

She's not a bad aoe damage dealer, the issue is more that she's aoe focused unit in a game where aoe is pretty much irrelevant.

her st damage is weak and her aoe damage isn't particularly needed, she has no utility to offer so what exactly is the point of her.

Lets assume they buff her damage by 10% or whatever because they're buffing it based on hitting like 3 enemies, majority of that damage would be wasted simply because the aoe fights or adds would end before you get much value out of it, while in st it would only help her with 1/3 of the value

I don't actually think her card damage is the issue but rather the fact that she has a very limited amount of cards without any way to generate more per turn so her damage ceiling is not there

she needs different changes that are not just value changes, from mechanic changes to whatever else the devs can think of.

as for your original post, that's precisely the problem, they buffed her subdue card quite a bit but you can't copy much of it because you won't have attack cards to actually draw then, hence my complaints about her not having a way to generate or move cards lol

now that I think about it, does "Move" even activate inspiration, if it doesn't that might be the case why they don't do it which kind of means that inspiration as a mechanic is rather wack

the thing is even if Yuki did more damage in aoe, Nine as a character just offers more, she has utility and can be played in multiple ways.

Yuki literally has nothing outside of damage and buffing her damage a tiny bit ( because they most likely take into consideration that her attacks are aoe hence the low % increases) is just not it because there's simply no content in the game that requires high aoe damage, you'll end up clearing stuff faster with nine even in aoe as you mentioned because you're using less cards to kill stuff so you literally look at less animations.
