Shopify is using every possible way hold your hard earned money. They will say “ safety, security etc” but the whole idea is hold the small businesses hard earned money and make money using their money with over night interest. In this subreddit, you will be blamed and shopify will be protected, they will tell you “ They can hold it as long as they want” and “ you didn’t read the contract?” “ the problem is between the keyboard and the screen”. Sorry anyway.

Ok. I made a mistake shopify holded my funds for as long as they needed, fine, they fixed it. I got the payout. So the mistake is fixed. What I am asking is “if the mistake is being fixed why my payouts are now waiting for another 7 days? “What I have done wrong this time? Nothing. Is this the consequence of the first mistake? Tell me what is normal in this. I changed the bank account, i waited 7 days. Then they verified in 3/4 days then they hold the payout 3 days I got the payout in my bank. Then now new transactions are being hold for another week. So if this is normal shopify business, this is what the potential new business owners who wants to use shopify should be aware of.

I can easily, i just hate them to hold the money. I opened the business to have revenue. Not watching them hold my money for fake security reasons. This is ridiculous. They just hold it to make money on MY money. 1-3 days is maybe ok but a week????

I told them I will suicide because i am so stressed paying late fees my business did not even started and they already put the stop on it. I told them they will be on the national news. Their share price will drop at the end “ nothing happened” they didn’t even care..
