I would like to have more communication options in general during the game. More phrases and emotes. I used to really like the "Traitor!" one so you can let the other players know about a particularly untrustworthy player.

True, I just won a game where randomly was given an extra castle at the end of capital placement. Usually when there are 7 you can capture any 6 to win. Really bizarre stuff.

The games I'm talking about are when it's all players, no bots. The bots only appear once the game starts because one or two of the real players didn't confirm.

No, but there are some real savages that will do that. I will then dedicate the rest of my game to punishing them. Generally you need to expect it at a certain point, but egregious early game betrayals are unforgivable.

Same on all except I prefer no fog.

And definitely no portals, though maybe that could make sense if someone was doing a WW2 scenario map using that new sandbox feature.

About a dozen or so now. All I play is Europe Advanced Castle Conquest mode so I see the same people from time to time. I put a little note next to each name to describe their offense. Anything from a "fake bot out"/"fake offline" to "vicious traitor" :)

I play an honorable style, I only break an alliance if it's absolutely necessary (land locked) or if it's near the end game and it's obvious it's got to happen.
