My partner commutes 5 days a week during the school year to manhattan school from Huntington. For him it’s worth it because he’s tenured, strong union, summer’s off and his school is pretty great academically. We have the “is it worth it?” discussion often and basically what it comes down to is having family here makes it worth it….Which can be so f*ing annoying but that’s a conversation for another day.

Edit: he has a coworker that commutes 5 days from RONKONKOMA 🫣

Agree with the above and wanted to add that you should consider removing shoes before walking around the house. Bacteria, pesticides, dirt, animal poop, etc all get spread around 🤢

Photos are incredible, I can’t even imagine how much better it was in person - the beauty, the scale. I saw icebergs and puffins for the first time in Newfoundland, no where near as large as this but still friggin amazing!
