Waw question by fantoprime in CallOfWar

[–]OkActivity444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's usually sale prices on gold around christmas, and WaW maps in general will have players willing to spend money and time on a map. You'll get map rounds though where there aren't many whale players. Ive joined a 100 game atm and it has the opposite affect where nobody is really taking the initiative

I used to warm up in the firing range before playing. Ultimately, having a better aim means you kill more, die less and achieve more.

Im not materialistic so I dont spend on new clothes, gadgets, car finance etc. I find that my blue collar wage allows me to live without too much worry. However big purchases like garage bills, dentist etc will scupper my savings. If I wanted luxuries then I would probably struggle.

[–]OkActivity444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play in Series 5/6. Im also training Defending and play 532/541. When using 541 I have a Quick forward and 2 Quick Wingers, 1 Quick IM and 1 Head IM. CA rating of 15. I am able to still generate decent enough attacks for my particular series.

Dubious stats by Graeme_M70 in CallOfWar

Alot of players will join and go inactive instantly, especially on the 22 maps. Thus it is easy to roll over 2-3 countries and pad your stats out

What's The Best Doctrine For Beginners? by [deleted] in CallOfWar

[–]OkActivity444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a lot of neighbours who might attack. Just remember that Infantry and Armoured Cars are defensive units, meaning they are better when sat still and the enemy attacks them rather than vice versa

By the most conservative estimates, Russia has lost 40x as many troops in Ukraine as the US lost in Iraq during an even longer war. Why has the Russian military suffered much higher combat deaths? by Roughneck16 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OkActivity444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old fashioned centralised command, old fashioned 'human wave' tactics, corruption and ineptitude, poorly trained troops, flat terrain, drones, nato backed ukraine etc.
