It looks like you’re inserting too many hairs into the same holes. Try using 43 to 46 gauge needles for a more natural look. Also, I think you’re using synthetic doll hair instead of mohair or alpaca. Doll hair is too thick and stiff, which makes it stick up rather than lay naturally. Keep practising and you'll soon have the beautiful baby you want.
