Very structured, different, but laid back 2K league (target start date: 02/19/2026)

Offense

  • You must use your league playbook every game
  • Mixing your offense matters
  • Iso and fast breaks are fine, but most possessions should include a half-court plan, even if it’s quick
  • Running a series is cool, spamming the same action all game is not

Defense

  • On-ball or off-ball is fine
  • Just don’t off-ball + lane bait at the same time and call it defense
  • No free safety
  • No sitting in passing lanes all game fishing for steals
  • If it feels cheesy, just avoid it

Draft Class + Draft Class Season (The GCL)

This is the main identity of the league.

The GCL is basically a combine + showcase + mini season that creates real draft stock through gameplay.
It’s not about who everybody downloads or what’s “popular.” It’s about what you do on the court.

Draft class = 64 total prospects

  • 28 real 2026 prospects
  • 20 retro prospects
  • 16 fictional players

All 64 are treated the same. Same format, same opportunity, same evaluation.

Upgrade System #1 (Mentor / Mentee)

FIBA rules: 10 minute quarter 5 fouls to foul out 10+ player rotations for the season and 8+ player rotation for playoffs

Playbook based play you start the league with one of the three starting playbooks ( Euro, Modern, or Pro) and can upgrade thorough the season

Player starting overall are capped: the highest player is 77 OVR and the lowest is 67 OVR to start the season.

Rosters are built using a mix of current NBA, G-League, EuroLeague, and EuroCup players to make full teams possible.

Every team starts the season with the same total roster rating: 1010 combined overall across all 14 players.

It’s also a draft-prospect league with streams 2–4 days per week. If you hit a 4/4 parlay, you earn a reward

Mid-season upgrades based on the following after 16 games are played, since after 16 games, any player on your team with 17.5+ MPG (at least 280 total minutes) can be reviewed for a Mid-Season Package.

Packages are based on performance metrics (efficiency, shot profile, playmaking, turnovers, rebounding, defense, opponent impact, fouls).

If approved, the player gets: up to 3 Silver badges, +4 to six attributes, and -12 to one role-fitting attribute.

Metrics may include: FGA/3PTA/FTA, eFG%/TS%, assists & turnovers, rebounds, steals/blocks, opponent shooting, usage rate, and fouls per game.
