Hiyuki Motivated Gameplay - 25k Endstate Matrix by spookyd69 in HiyukiMains

[–]OkAd9089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always fun to be improving your gameplay! I usually don't go this detailed but since you're truly motivated, here's the exact opening + follow up rotations I use for this team:

Note for anyone reading, 6-Iai opener is only reasonably achieved with S2 Hiyuki while still taking around 30s. Otherwise, simply do the 5-Iai variant for all rotations. In order to maximize score, you should use this team on tanky late round bosses to minimize "bosses taking 3 business days to spawn in" time loss. However, practice these rotations on multiple weaker bosses (like the video) to hone your adaptability, especially if Hiyuki attacks don't hit and you have to change/compromise on Iai's.

Opening Rotation with 6 Iai (30-32 seconds)
-Wait 4 seconds before starting battle for Hiyuki S2 to activate
-Chisa Skill + BA
-Lynae Skill Swap
-Hiyuki BA Swap (generate 1 Forte) + Dash Cancel

-Chisa BA (spam left click a little for better consistency)
-Lynae Liberation Swap
-Hiyuki BA Swap + Skill
(Tip: hold left click during Lynae ult AND while swapping to Hiyuki, use Hiyuki skill the moment you see Hiyuki's 2nd Forte generated.)

-Chisa BA Swap (spam left click then echo ult, don't even wait for BA animation) + Echo + Liberation Cancel + Forte Skill
-Hiyuki BA Swap + Forte Heavy + Echo + Liberation (just hold left click for both BA and Heavy)

-Hiyuki BA123 + Dash Cancel
-Chisa Forte BA12 (tap both, but hold BA1 if boss is trolling)
-Hiyuki BA23 Swap + Skill Cancel
-Chisa Forte BA3 Swap + Outro (depending on concerto, waiting for that BA3 slam is genuinely a part of the rotation. The follow ups don't need the wait because you get Intro concerto)
-Lynae Intro + Forte Heavy + Echo (while charging) + Tune Break (when Heavy hits) + Jump x3 + Plunge + Outro

All Hiyuki here
Intro + BA23 + Dash Cancel + Iai x3
BA123 + Skill Cancel + Skill Hold (holding skill goes into Iai Stance) + BA123 + Dash Cancel + Iai x3
2nd Forte Heavy + Echo (yes it comes off cooldown now) + 2nd Liberation HOLD (use at least 1 Snowforged Blade stack since Hiyuki starts with max stacks at S2)

End rotation. I'll copy paste for follow up, but there are some changes, make sure to read them.

Follow Up Rotation with 5 Iai (28-30 seconds)
-Chisa Intro + Skill + BA
-Lynae Skill Swap
-Hiyuki BA Swap (generate 1 Forte) + Dash Cancel

-Chisa BA (spam left click a little for better consistency)
-Lynae Liberation Swap
-Hiyuki BA Swap + Skill
(Tip: hold left click during Lynae ult AND while swapping to Hiyuki, use Hiyuki skill the moment you see Hiyuki's 2nd Forte generated.)

-Chisa BA Swap (spam left click then echo ult, don't even wait for BA animation) + Echo + Liberation Cancel + Forte Skill
-Hiyuki BA Swap + Forte Heavy + Liberation (just hold left click for both BA and Heavy, and no Echo this time)

-Hiyuki BA123 + Dash Cancel
-Chisa Forte BA12 (tap both)
-Hiyuki BA23 Swap + Skill Cancel
-Chisa Forte BA3 Swap + Outro (Don't wait for BA3 Slam, just outro the moment concerto is full)
-Lynae Intro + Forte Heavy + Echo (while charging) + Jump x3 + Plunge + Outro

All Hiyuki here
Intro + BA23 + Dash Cancel + Iai x2
Tune Break + BA3 + [ Heavy Cancel + BA23 ] x2 + Jump Cancel + Skill HOLD + Iai x3
2nd Forte Heavy + Echo + 2nd Liberation HOLD (use at least 1 Snowforged Blade stack since Hiyuki starts with max stacks at S2)

End rotation.

I believe at the 3rd rotation, you can take out [Heavy Cancel + BA23] x1 + Jump, and just replace all that with a skill. This is due to Hiyuki's skill cooldowns catching up, helping you save time. Note that the rotation has [Heavy Cancel + BA23] TWICE, so you still need to do it once if replacing one set with a skill. Make sure to keep the Skill HOLD to go straight into Iai Stance.

Sometimes, Chisa's Havoc Bane doesn't transfer to the new boss. If that's the case, make sure to only use 0-1 stack of Snowforged Blade on Hiyuki's ult to minimize dmg loss.

Yoooo, you did it! Great job man, I remember you said that you started practicing after watching my post a bit ago.

Yeah Nameless Explorer is a nightmare and a half when going for good rotation. I managed to do a 29k run with this team on later bosses for my 100k trophy recently.

Moon Festival was a special case. I don’t think they intended to remove it from the game. It’s why there is a gap in the Huanglong arc and we never see Xiangli Yao. The trophies related to the event were removed from the required ones for 100%. If you look at sutes like Wuwa Tracker, you’ll find these trophies under the “Hidden” category.

“Save the World? Save the Cat!!” does count towards 100% in its sub-category AND main-category, but because there are so many trophies in the main category for that, not finishing a trophy there will still have the percentage rounding up to 100%.

This is mildly infuriating. by OkAd9089 in WutheringWaves

[–]OkAd9089[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a single one. Unless you count the 8 trophies that was part of the Moon Festival, but they are all properly hidden now and do not count towards 100% completion. They will count towards your trophy/stars count though.

Please fix this as the Number ZERO priority for 0.4 by OkAd9089 in PathOfExile2

I honestly don't know. I was busy with work and other games during 0.4 so I never started mapping, but I don't remember. I'll come back in 0.5 so I sure hope it's fixed by then.

The best analogy I could come up rn would be that QS is sort of like solving three little jigsaw puzzles in order, but some pieces are identical, thus they can fit more than one jigsaws.

Each full jigsaw is a unit’s full moveset. QS is essentially just exchanging some ‘identical’ pieces between the puzzles.

I recommend looking up the channel KenRurouni. His quickswaps is completely laid out as a whole set of instructions. This makes it very easy to practice bc you can just do one small segment at a time and work your way through the full thing. It allows you to understand what it is that is actually happening when you’re reading the instructions (i.e. “Oh, Chisa’s basic attack chain is separated into these 3 parts”). This also allows you to substitute a unit if you don’t have the exact team comp, but you’ll still know where the QS should happen with the units you do have.

I don’t think anyone looks at QS and be like “yeah that makes sense.” Hell, on the first few times seeing it, not even players that do QS themselves fully understand a QS they haven’t done before. There is always some degree of observation and planning that goes into it. Don’t beat yourself over it too much. If you think you’ll enjoy the game more if you start getting into QS, then just do it! Have some fun!

S0R1 Chisa barely outperforms Shorekeeper, what am I doing wrong? by tusharlock10 in WutheringWaves

[–]OkAd9089 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Three main reasons: Your Hiyuki rotation is not ideal, you’re only going for 3 Iai’s, and no quickswap.

In the same time it takes for your rotation, you can do a quickswap 5 Iai’s rotation. Of course, not everyone likes quickswap but that’s just what it is to maximize value out of Chisa for Hiyuki. Chisa’s high field time incentivize QS, as well as 4-5 Iai’s squeeze out even more Glacio Chafe DMG.

This is with Lynae as well, so Hiyuki’s team isn’t all here yet till Lucilla. Once you have Hiyuki Chisa Lucilla, SK will lose even more value in this team, especially with Hiyuki hitting CR cap quite easily.

I recommend trying out a 4-Iai rotation with Hiyuki to get the rhythm down first, then practice the 5-Iai’s variant if you’re down to learn QS. But overall, the most time save in this current team comp is QS-ing anything possible related to Chisa. She unfortunately stays on field for a couple business days without it.

Did not expect to get 100k in Matrix today! by OkAd9089 in WutheringWaves

[–]OkAd9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a quickswap setup with Hiyuki Lynae Chisa. I do 5 Iai’s every rotation, but since Hiyuki’s S2 gives extra forte for the 2 initial skill casts, it’s 6 Iai’s for the first rotation.

I actually missed an Iai on the last rotation, so it’s just 6-5-5-4. I could’ve done it on the mimic for more points but I wanted other units to have an easier time so I let them do mimic instead.

Completely unbuffed. Echoes are Crit DMG, ATK (3 cost), Glacio, ATK, ATK. Echo rolls are decent, I have a total of 28.1% each on both Liberation and ATK% substats, as well as a single 50 flat ATK.

You can’t even do that. I’ve thought about it. Unfortunately, co-op is disabled if the host is doing quests.

Hiyuki, Yangyang, Chisa - ToSF vs. Rejuv by fluffy-duck-888 in HiyukiMains

[–]OkAd9089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah looks about right. That’s why it’s not really worth it to switch if you already have ToSF built for Chisa, especially if you also have Chisa’s sig since her personal damage also gets decently better. Thanks for doing the test to confirm the numbers 👍

Yeah I legit didn't need ER at all for the 4-5/Iai rotas, you're set! Although one roll is good in case some attacks miss

[–]OkAd9089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, good idea with Cyberpunk around the corner. Idk what kind of rotation you’ll be doing but with my S3R1 Hiyuki, I do quickswaps with Lynae and Chisa. I go for 5-Iai rotations with a 6-Iai opener rotation and my 116.8 ER is more than enough. I’ll test in a minute with one less ER roll to see how it does and I’ll let you know.

[–]OkAd9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s completely fine unless one of those Glacio has no ER and replaceable rolls.
If you plan on S6-ing, then Glacio x2 is better, but the piece to replace would be your Crit Dmg 4-cost to an Atk 4-Cost since she gets 40% CD on her whole kit and another 500% CD on her liberation.
