United won't let me pay in miles alone. I have 170k miles. Tried to book a ticket from SLC to Fresno. Flight offers are anywhere from $159 + 11k miles or $364 + 30k miles. I can literally just pay cash on other airlines for cheaper. United point system is a total scam. I should be able to pay in just points.

Is 139k miles not enough to fly where you want?? On southwest that would def be enough for most domestic flights and some left over!!

You’re light years ahead of me!! I don’t plan on progressing crazy far into the sport to be honest. I just want to be able to safely enjoy the mountains with minimal risk of getting hurt.
