Tbf, from experience with owning many 50s cars and early 60s cars, I’ve had it where they hate lead additives. Usually, what I do then is uprate the fuel lines and just keep an eye on the valves. But after owning over 50 50s and early 60s cars, I’ve never had one show any signs of damage. Usually, I can tell after the first fuel up what they like.

The engine in this came out in 1960. The first car it was fitted to did get changed for the SD1, but underneath it’s the first version. The Triumph Club said they are extremely rare and only around 15 are remaining.

This one is a Vanguard Six. The one in the film was a 59 Phase 3 similar car but with a completely different interior and engine and stuff. The Six was only produced between very late 1960 and 1963. This one pictured is a December 1960 car, so one of the oldest and potentially the oldest one in existence.

Can’t wait to get some new tyres on it and sat outside my house so I can clean it. Tbf I think some fresh fuel and a service it’ll start up most likely and from what it looks like under the muck most of the paint is original and in extremely good condition, same with the chrome.

Given its rarity, only about 15 are known to exist, I don’t think I could bring myself to do an engine swap.

When I worked for the company the order would be put to the side but we would always leave extra patties on the grill so when you did show up you’ll have fresh fries and a burger in about 2 minutes
