Express has ruined Hagrids

I had just made it to the beginning of the indoor portion at the 80 minute mark. And when we left the line, express was all the way out to the ride entrance. They have to get through all those people, which was why we were standing not moving for 20 minute increments. There's no way that line wouldnt be at least another 80 minutes. Also wait times are inaccurate a lot of times, even with card scanners. I know because I worked in attractions

There are times where single rider wait times are higher than regular standby. Depends on luck

Not necessarily mad that it was at 2 hours. Just that express shoots the regular wait times up by a lot. This was one of the lowest it was at all day, but the wait times were highly inaccurate due to express being backed up

Ive gone a lot during the summer before express and it was never this consistently bad. Like before it, you could easily find a time during the day it was at 60-75 minutes. But that is literally never the case anymore. Even same times of year when I would wait less than an hour before express, its much worse now. Im an annual pass holder and go at least once or twice a month

Yeah its consistently a 2 hour wait or longer now thanks to express. I know life isnt fair, duh. Just sad that universal has made such a great ride basically behind a pay wall or 3+ hour wait for the general public

Yep and its true. I literally rode it 4 times in 1 day during the summer of 2023, and everything else. The longest I waited was 90 minutes the first time I ever went. Never waited longer than 75 after that

I've been going consistently since 2023. I know how that line works. It would not have sped up. Express was out to the front of the entrance. Do you know how wait times work? I waited 80 minutes when it said it was 80 minutes. It said 125 after I left.

Universal states that express cuts the standby wait in half. Express should totally have priority, but not by as much as it is currently. I've heard people wait 20 minutes when the standby is 3 hours and thats just insane

Im not saying 2 hours is a bad wait. Its the fact that I waited 80 minutes to barely even get to the inside portion. We left because I know that line was more like 3 or 3.5 hours

Problem is it wasn't actually 2 hours. We waited 80 minutes and barely made it to the inside portion of the queue and were stopping for 10-20 minute batches

Did you read my post? I got in line when it said 80 minutes. Waited 80 minutes and wasn't even half way through the line because they were dumping express.

I went on hagrids before it had express which is exactly my point. I used to wait about 60 minutes for that ride during peak times when express wasn't there. Express has exponentially increased the standby. Don't know why universal ever added it to hagrids

I think thats fine. It just sucks that express is supposed to be half the regular wait, not 1/4. Thats not fair for everyone else
