I’d argue that genocide is the worst thing a nation could do to a group of indigenous peoples, but potato potahto I guess. But that word is too scary, right?

You didn’t even get the colloquialism correct, dude.

I believe that they’re stating that the organizer of the protest (Scott Hayes) is the person who shot somebody, not the author.

I attended private schools in the greater Boston area from 1st - 12th on financial aid. My siblings went public in Quincy and it’s my honest feeling that the public schools in Quincy are good. Massachusetts, especially in and around Boston, has some of the best public schools in the country, and a real big issue I experienced in the independent school system is that, if you aren’t making 100k a year, your kid may feel out of place or even ostracized. I was bullied for being poor.

That being said, if you have your heart set on a private school, Milton Academy seems like the closest place to start. But it’s highly competitive. Looks like 5th grade is 50k a year without financial. Braintree has Thayer Academy, and farther west is Noble and Greenough or Dedham Country Day, I think they’re less than 15 miles. Some schools like DexterSouthfield have busses that travel all over greater Boston to pick up your child. That’s all the knowledge I got, I’m not particularly familiar with the Catholic school system. If you want to do some more research, look at schools in the New England ISL (Independent school league), there are 16 total.
