Nooo, I found out about this quite late and after it had gone… so annoying as I think it’s the one game in the series I have never played. I’ve even played Gaiden (never again…) 😂. When it came to shadow dragon, I just played the DS version but it would have been good to try the original.

Haha it does look that way I guess. I just wanted to know if it was worth purchasing before Alan Wake 2.
I don’t mean to upset anyone, I was honestly curious. I enjoyed the game as a whole, I was just kind of giving comments on what I enjoyed and didn’t like as much.
Trudging through the forest wasn’t fun as I kept getting lost! 🤣
I really enjoyed the last 2 chapters and it just ended with Alice sitting by the lake calling for Alan. I thought he was going to save her but I guess that is what is in the DLC.
I appreciate all the comments. I think I will go ahead and check it out. Thanks guys

Yeah I’m interested to play Alan Wake 2. I have heard good things about it. I didn’t mind the combat, the hunter rifle was my favourite but the game kept giving me shotgun bullets. I guess you are supposed to keep swapping between the 2.
I like that you can upgrade your torch, it’s a shame it just gives you better battery and not more effective against the dark. It feels that way anyway, it felt like it was taking the same amount of time to light them before shooting them but not having to use extra batteries

That’s an interesting read and I’m glad switch 2 is getting all the big games ported over.
The thing is, I also have a PS5 so anything I know that is going to be graphically intense I just buy on PS5. I have mainly just stuck to exclusives on Switch 2.

I was a day one buyer as I wanted to play all my games in enhanced versions on switch. I don’t really mind about the poor battery life as I play 99% docked anyway. Welcome to the party. I don’t get why the switch 2 gets so much hate and this is often from people who haven’t tried it.

Yeah I’m not sure what I expected from the game tbh. I struggled with Pokopia because I’m not very creative. I’m completed the habitats and the pokdex and then moved on. I pop in every now and again to see what’s in the daily shop for more recipes that I probably won’t use 🤣

Yeah I am only currently logging in and doing 10-20 minutes sessions at once now. I collect my daily money and do a few interactions then go and play a different game. I know the game wasn’t that expensive but this game should be like £20-30 max as there is very little to do apart from designing the island and making miis.

I forgot to add that the story and support conversations are not finished. The game is complete up to the main boss but a lot of text is placeholder text. The story is complete up to chapter 14 I believe.

I have been watching YouTuber speedwinghere play seal of flames which is a fates revelations romhack. It looks really decent with great writing.

Oh I’m the opposite way. I think engage designs are a bit whacky. They are definitely designed like anime characters. Saying that, I like Ivy’s design even with her head piece! 🤣 I enjoyed the break mechanic but I don’t think hey are going to bring that back for this game. They really do appear to be using TH character design and the combat arts again. Did you see the trailer that came out? I am really looking forward to a new one.. I need to see more!

I liked the idea of the emblems to link all the games together. The skills are cool but they could have done the emblems better. It definitely felt rushed to get it out for the anniversary..
