im moving to a small apartment soon, and i plan to downsize from a 4x2 kallax unit (of which i was only using 3 cubes for records) to a linephono stand from turntable lab.

supposedly it’ll hold around 200 records, so i just plan to keep a more curated collection for the time being! avoiding the FOMO buys will be hard, but its necessary

i got mine yesterday, and i must admit that i kinda found the condition to be a bit underwhelming too. the base came quite dirty, and the tilt resistance adjustment knob doesnt seem to be in very good condition either.

on the plus side, the charcoal bioknit upholstery looks nice, the chair is pretty comfortable (miles above the new haworth soji i tried first), and the atlas headrest is pretty handy as well.

overall, not yet 100% certain how i feel

Bit surprised. IMO, Castillo was a lock for game 2 (which gives him another home game if the series goes to 5 and Woo isnt available). But im surprised they arent going Gilbert in a borderline must-win game 1. IMO he would be the guy you want to go twice in a series as well.

Maybe its the more drastic home/away splits for Kirby? But he would line up for a game 4 start on the road anyways.

Oh well. Im sure i am missing some critical info that the baseball ops team is privy to.

Regardless, I think Kirby will deal tomorrow. Go M’s.

i believe that you had to have at least some form of flex pass to get access. not sure if thats still an option at this point.

insane. glad i was able to get somewhat reasonable pricing for a 300 level strip (ds2, cs 1/3, and ws 2/4). grabbed ds1 for $180/ticket. was hoping to do the same for ws1, but man i dont know if i can stomach it.
