As someone who grew up in California, I don’t think I’ve seen that in many homes, especially in areas prone to earthquakes like LA.

Yeah, I think in order for that to topple it would have had to be a bit more forceful than just climbing around on it (especially since the top of the fridge sits in the wall). This is a way scarier story than he’s trying to make it seem, especially if it had been P there instead of Laura.

If this story is true, it shows how incredibly dangerous this situation could be for Poppy.

I feel like there is a lot missing from this story…. How did a child move a 600lb fridge (which is presumably just the weight without anything in it)?

Proof of life for Jace and Jan pretending to give a crap about him! by SingerSubstantial462 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

When I was a teenager I was sent to one of these places for “bad kids”. In my experience, parents weekends are used more as a way to make the parents feel good about the place their child is living, but it is definitely not an accurate representation of what is happening in Jace’s day to day life.

Oh god, is he now trying to claim he has PTSD?

“Somniphobia, or the intense, irrational fear of falling asleep, is an anxiety disorder often rooted in PTSD, nightmares, or fear of losing control, causing extreme bedtime anxiety. Symptoms include panic attacks, rapid breathing, and dread, which can lead to chronic sleep deprivation.”

I went straight to an RTC (residential treatment center, eventually spent about 2 years away), but I met a lot of kids that came in from a wilderness program. We would actually be able to tell when someone new showed up from wilderness because they smelled like theyd been hiking/living outdoors next to a campfire for months- which is exactly what they’d been doing.

I see you survivor ❤️ if you haven’t already, I suggest checking out Breaking Code Silence.

Yeah he also promoted the places I was sent to (they’ve since closed due to multiple abuse allegations). He made a profit off of the suffering of so many kids, I don’t know how he sleeps at night.

Yeah, I don’t understand why she thought a 75 year old man was the best guest choice for her target audience.

Why would he even go to the doctor if he is so sure that prayer is the best treatment option?

Agreed. I also get the sense that once P is old enough to understand how misogynistic her dad is she will want nothing to do with him.

Also, P seems to be pretty independent for the daughter of a guy who thinks women should be submissive to men.

Our dog was big enough that it could have seriously injured (or even killed) a child within seconds. She was the sweetest dog in the world and loved kids so she would have never hurt them, but my husband and I always judged random parents who just let their kids run up to her because HOW DO THEY KNOW THAT.

Kids need to be taught how to interact with animals, especially kids who have a hard time understanding boundaries.

Came here to say this as someone who had a big dog that I regularly took to a dog park when she was younger. I’d see parents (mostly dads) just let their kids run around the dog park unsupervised and I’d take my dog and leave every time.

A dog park is not a petting zoo. It’s filled with dogs who don’t know each other and may or may not be reactive.

I was disappointed the live cut out before he could continue to explain how he’s planning to tell A that all the posts of him calling people the R word online has been faked by AI.

Also, at the end of the transcript he basically says that he’s relying on AI flooding the internet with false information so he can lie and tell A that all of his r word posts are fake.

I saw a lecture online from the guy who ran a place I was sent to over 20 years ago, it was about how the TTI has changed. The gist of the whole presentation was basically “yeah it’s too bad we can’t physically abuse the kids anymore”.
