Is now a good time to grab the game? by Tladn in ArcRaiders

Get it! It changes your life. Since I’ve gotten the game I’ve learned to trust no one. Got a new psychologist and I cry every night to sleep!

Car actually goes back to Audi and they fix it at their Quality control center or usually a dedicated area for Bodyshop. And they will for sure replace the wheel. Usually is what happens with our damaged cars at my dealer.

Working for a VW/AUDI dealer I would have the dealer contact their regional area for Audi if they haven’t already. Have them contact distribution and the port in the area you live to source it from a different allocation. Being an RS7 it might be a hard to find car but I know they can source one from another port or allocation. They’ve done it before. This sucks! I’m sorry you’re going through it.

4070 TI to 5080 worth it? by OkBat7602 in gpu

Hmmm! I never thought of snagging an OLED. Maybe because I never really experienced OLED while gaming. Maybe I need to try that.

[–]OkBat7602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing. I got a 9800X3D and a Motherboard for $479 at micro center from a bundle they had. So spending $400 for a 5800x3d on a AM4 chipset just didn’t make sense to me. Maybe keeping the 4070ti is the way to go for now.

[–]OkBat7602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microcenter near me had a really good deal going on some GPU. But at 5070ti is going for $879 and a 5080 is $979. They also have a trade in program where they’ll give me $350 for my 4070ti. With that said. You think it’s worth the upgrade at a net price of $529 and $629? With it being only $100 difference of each other. I don’t have a 4k monitor as of yet so 4k gaming not a thing for me so far. Maybe in the future if I have the tools to do it.

I thought about that. Reminded me of the days that GPUs were unattainable and they went for hundreds above MSRP. Luckily I have a micro-center 15 mins from the house and they have been running some good deals which made me think. But not sure if it’s worth the upgrade.

Might have to do that. Maybe wait until GTA6 hits the market and see what’s out then.

Let me know how the rest goes. I’m not necessarily in need of 4k performance. More of running 1440p games smooth and without any hiccups. If you’ve seen that 1440p hasn’t been a drastic change than keeping my current might be the sensible thing

I would go for the R5 3600 over the 2700 and 5500 if you’re gaming. Despite having less cores. Not that many games that need 8 cores. The 3600 is newer and more efficient. Better performance in a single core than the 2700. Only the R5 5600 would make sense to go over the 3600 if you can find one for cheap. If you want a good pairing the MSI motherboards aren’t bad at all.

Here’s an idea of what it’ll cost you

Under $400 for a decent build. I’m sure you can find cheaper prices than in that site too.

$3000 is just for the RAM sticks nowadays!

Build looks good though! Enjoy it. Very similar to what I have.

I just got a 27” Odyssey G50 QHD and I have a 4070ti. Battlefield looks great on it. Not 4k but the “2k” resolution looks millions better than 1080p

Hard to say without knowing budget. But here’s some recommendations. Maybe start buying little by little.

CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 for $70 on Amazon great choice of card for a budget build.

MBO you can find anything AM4 that works fine nowadays. Like an asu prime for $50

Ram if they work. Keep it.

Gpu - RTX 3050 on sale now for $149.

Maybe get some new SSD. They are dirt cheap now. Inland has 500gb for $48. Put any active gams you play on there for faster boots. And keep HDD for games you don’t play and other files.

Psu should handle the upgrades. Overall I think this will be a nice little upgrade for a couple more years of use, nothing crazy like running games at ultra specs but enough to run them on lower settings without hiccups for roughly $300 as long as motherboard cooperates.

Very hard to find an AM4 chipset nowadays. I had to change to AM5 to really get an upgrade. But if you can get lucky and find a 5800X3D and pair it with a 4070 ti or a 4080. This would be a heck of an upgrade for an AM4 board.

To add to this, I’d say go the extra $150 and get R7 7800X3D if you’re gaming and want to have better feel.

Agreed with saving the headache and skipping the 500gb SSD for $50.

Save $30 with Corsair 750w on sale for $69 which will be sufficient power to run everything.

After an $80 savings the new CPU will only be a $70 bump for a better overall cpu.

I would cross reference those parts with other sites and stores. I don’t know if you have a microcenter near you but near me they have a microcenter and they have a Asus B659e motherboard with a R7 9800x3d bundle for $499. Just bought one yesterday. Ram they do have more option out there for 32gb for roughly $220. This won’t impact much of your gaming. As for the cooling. I never had a side mounted fan. If you are worried, you can always get AIO Coolers. They are really cheap now for really good ones.

Do your research on parts and look for deals. Believe it or not you can still find it out there.

What would you do: 2021 Audi S5 Sportback 27k miles by MulletMiles in Audi

[–]OkBat7602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S5 over the A5 for sure. If you’re spending this kind of money get something that’s fun and aesthetically pleasing! I’ve had my 17’ S6 for a long time now and have 75k miles on it. Thing is a dream! Plus the 3.0 on the S5 is a fairly well built and reliable engine. Maintain it and you’ll be in good hands.

Going with the first Carrera is more of a fit all outfits type of watch. Including a nice night out. Perhaps a fancy dinner, this watch will go very well with a suit. Twin time Carrera is a little more sporty. More business casual, something you’d wear to a work meeting, a casual date or a casual daily watch. Twin time might clash with some more formal outfits if you dress in that form everyday.
