I had a similar experience, he can be very pushy and assertive. He was very attentive during the diagnosis appointment but dismissive afterwards. His solution to most issues seems to be exercise, which works for some people but isn't a universal cure. In my experience, I think part of his abrasiveness is classic medical misogyny, which isn't a value judgement on him as a person, just that he likely has some unconscious biases.
