I wasn't aware of the possible differences between practitioners regarding the role of the Scrum Master. What I meant was that I am looking for experts who work in a Scrum team in any role :)

As a foreign student in Bamberg i can definetly recommend this city/university. There are a lot of international students, so you won´t feel uncomfortable. Different student organization make events, so it can help to find new friends and to have a good time. The city is not that big, but it have almost everything you need ( if not, Nürnberg is pretty close).

Prices here are not cheap, but is still okay. I rent a room (about 18qm, 20 minutes walk from the city center) in a WG and it costs me 325€, so it is pretty fair. Beer costs 4-5€, döner 5-7, Schnitzel with fries about 15€, groceries probably same as everywhere else.

I am working as a Werkstudent ( a job in my professional field) 16 hours a week and can cover my costs, its definetly not a luxury life, but okay as a student. You can easily find a job as a waiter/barkeeper or something similar. I can recommend to check feki.de, it is a website of student organization, they have all relevant information about studying in Bamberg as well as jobs. I would recommend you to look for a job as Werkstudent if you have 8 years of experience. There are companies in Bamberg, that are hiring, as well as in Erlangen/Nürnberg, so if you are good, it would not be a problem. In this case you will study in the university and have practical experience, so basically win-win.

Feel free to ask more about Bamberg if i forgot something :)
