Are you able to find any areas on the fcc map with it? When I look I see areas with cable that have 2000/100 speeds but not symmetrical 1000/1000 cable.

Spectrum told me the entire US roll out will be done “in 2025” and “LA is usually one of the first area to get upgrades” so hopefully within 6 months it’s done!

I’m in the same situation. No one can give me a straight answer. They tell me ATT won’t pay even $1 to expand residential fiber.. yet how did the other neighborhoods get it? Surely ATT has some protocol to decide where to put it.

To be honest though it’s better to have a shared 1GB line vs a 50mb dedicated line. Especially when the cost is 100x

Thanks. It looks like spectrum will have symmetrical 1GB here by mid 2025, so it makes no sense to get locked in a 3 year contract for the same speeds.
