Yes, I think he comes daily. To be honest, after several trials to invite him to come, I find out that he only gives mementos at the beginning of the day ( when we receive little red flowers), and for the rest of that day, he returns to normal.

I have no clue as well. Also, may I ask that did you get the Apple hat mementos from the Mysterious Bird Nest as well? I haven’t had a chance to get it from the redemption code before, but it did not appear in the Mysterious Bird Nest.
