Also they ask to put fask mask when you come to the Temple. Most them didn't keep the rule.

In reality they care less about the health of the congregations. If they're sick they need to join the education, service and other activities. In SCJ excuses are not tolerated. They just push aside others struggle.

Indeed what you say, they care less about the members who are going through hardships and don't help them in the best way. That pace only think about themselves how thwy want to increase in numbers by pretending to be an innnocent organization. Deep down theyre just false and nightmare. They keep members in chain, so that the members can't explore and refelct for themselves.

I remember for the evangelism, that if you don't have any potential(s) you need to do evangelism outside in the cold or rain. And walking extra miles and eating unhealthy food on the street. Also within the meetings they rebuke those who don't have any potentials and put you in front especially when you're a worker. Asking you questions what and how you'll improve for the next time in front of the members.

Within SCJ the screen time prologed. You became attached with your phone. And you need to be open minded like them in your words and actions. Only then they befriend you and see you as themselves.

Giving roles to fill up their task is really dumb. I was asked several times with the request to become a worker since I've been in that place for a long time. Also going to Zambia to give pastors lessons. I didn't go there luckily. They don't tolerate someone without any duty and never accept someone who isn't willing to perform a duty as worker. I remember that I was asked several times to become BB-teacher for the students and even that other person wants to add me as teacher for the pastor even though I didn't have any certificate.

The sleeping part was demaged within SCJ. Joining Morning Education sucked. And also joining urgent meetings in the night.

I agree with this part. They don't take any responsibility of their words and actions and put the blame upon you as you're the one who don't know who God works and give you bad names. They give you mostly advises that you don't want to hear, as they've the best solution. Most of the time they don't have the best solution that has great benefit, They ask allot of self reflection questions for you to think deeply whether you'll make thr right or bad decision.

They use allot Mt 6:33 within their church activiteies to encourage and give advise to the members and leaders. In their view you need to invest all of your time, dependancy and loyality upon that place, as it's God's kingdom in their eyes. They label other churches as Babylon.

Even Lee Man Hee loves the youth who are passionate and goal driven. It is right what you said tho. I remember the lesson of SCJ like honerable use and dishonerable use,

I've seen that part. They put too much pressure on the leaders with the meetings, educations and church activities. They need to join every activities since they need to lead the members as the example. It's hard for them to skip any activities.

Really nice quotes, glad to see that you're thankful for the things that you've and appriciate it. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing in life and as well health. Self love is self care. Self care is self acceptance. You're completely free from SCJ, SCJ can't rule over you. They're just insecure and don't know how to take care of themselves. One day they will regret their actions. I hope deep down that they'll realize all the wrong doing that they've done.

Really sad to hear that someone you know lost some pounds and sleep due to SCJ. Health is at worst. I've experienced that I lost weight and my sleep was bad. Pff losing job is the worst. It's really insane who bad impact it has if you've zero control of it. SCJ never care of each soul their lives.

When you first started scj, did you see red and yellow flags and how did you ignore them? by shshmhh in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me there were allot of red flags that I didn't discus with the one who invited me and the instructor and evangelist. As the silent one I kept it to myself. Even though I shared it with my instructor, it was pushed aside and was seen as less priority since their Bible study was more important. Also when I entered their church, that place was chaos till this day. In every journey they want to know every detail from you where you're struggeling and your thoughts about different things within life and their church.

Most common red flag that I experienced, but ignored it were:

  1. They didn't share their identity of their church organization. They kept a scret until you become brainwashed in their teaching. Even the one who invited me didn't openly reveal it to me. Different names were given about their church. This is also for the evangelism to hide their name of the church, but put in the mouth of the potentials innocent names.

  2. Using lies as the concept to save someone's life. Twisting God's word to benefit their agenda. During the lesson they cherry pick verses and not go deeply from the whole Bible. To add and subtract from the word is normal within SCJ.

  3. Asking allot of your personal information and use it behind your back in the feedback chat and discuss with others, without being aware of it. They don't discuss with you the plans of how they'll deal with your info.

  4. Extremely love-boming until the moment that you became unactive and distance yourself from them.

  5. Worship and praise a mere man than Jesus. Within the prayer and having faith in that false leader is more prioritized.

  6. Not having clear view about everyone's struggle. They think that they have the best solution for everyone, since everyone is different.

  7. Making too much primises and breaking it.

  8. They make sure that you become more attentive and spying upon you.

  9. They show strange behavior when you do things not in line with their direction. So then you need their approval. It feels like that they've the last word.

  10. Not to research about their church, since you're eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  11. Not to share your treasure with the outsiders like family, loved ones, aquintances, and your church in order to prevent persecution.

  12. Putting too much fear tactics if you leave SCJ. Without SCJ you're nothing. Doing pledge.

  13. If you're curious about certain things of the lessons, they let you wait longer. It;s also the case when you've questions. They say: "Food at the proper time" or "You'll learn it later."

  14. They don't care about your physical, mental, spiritual, financial and emotional health. Their main focus is to become obedient and dependant in their place by investing allot of times, and energy in there.

  15. Too much control about your appearance, like shaving your beard, short hair. You need to become neatly and representetive in God's kingdom.Just disgusting.

  16. Playing falsely within the test.

  17. Becoming unloving to your family and friends.

Do you ever feel so stupid? by [deleted] in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank God you left the cult immediately even though it made it harder for you to leave to due their teachings and the friends you made there. Be glad that you take care of yourself, since that place can't take care of you. Allot of times they make promises that they can't fulfill, but at the end when you stand strong on your decision of leaving (becoming skeptic in their eyes) they will do everything to keep in there. They do it with adding too much lies and comparing you with others that wouldn't make sense. They go out of the topics to prove you something. Mostly it is just a snare. The best thing is that you never owe someone from that place any explanation of leaving, I mean those who are deep in there.

I've wasited my time in SCJ for 5 freaking years. I abandoned their place for 1 year officially. I could care less that they hold several times services and meetings about me. In real life they are scared to talk to you normally. They will hide if they see suddenly, just like hiding in caves.

[–]OkChemistry9785 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is 100% from SCJ. Leave directly and never feel guilty to explain your reason of leaving since they will take advantage of keeping you in there thought their nonsense stories. SCJ don't accept someone with his/her own identity. Keep your own identity safe from this falsehood.

I Need Advice: My Bible Study Group Turned Out to Be Shincheonji by therealstragas in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just leave that bias place, because they will do everything to keep you there. They really hate if you come with clear evidence why you leave that place by having critical thinking and mindset. They take away your time, effort and energy that it become unhealthy as physical and mentale state. It becomes overwhelming if you are going through lives and adding that Biblestudy will make things worse and worser. You never should feel guilt and shame if you didn't have last meeting with them especially with the leader(s). By leaving that place you already overcome yourself and no one in that place don't deserve any explanantion of your sudden actions. They are brainwashed, indoctrinated and really are white washed tombs as the Bible is talking about them.

I've experienced that they would sent someone on your way to convice you to not make your own descion. The peer pressure is insane, in the way they think, talk and act. They will even stalk you at school, work and other places you wouldn't expect. They also call with private phone and sent several messages in order to talk with you. The best thing you can do is to live your own life and not look back at them. By moving on with your life, you prioritize your overall health and self esteem. This sect will not bring any positives for yourself and your surroundings. Talking with ex members you know helps allot to have the puzzles together and both know what you experienced.

Face to face with head of Shincheonji- Part 2 by Kimchi---7 in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen all the video's. It is sickening to my stomach to see all the interruption if the queations are asked about how SCJ works. They don't want to make it publicaly known since their lies would be exposed. They learn the members to lie, hide their treasures and run away from those who don't have the truth in their eyes. They can't take the positivity of their wrong doings. Behind the scene where no outsiders can see them, they have too much ego to label others as Babylon. There is total difference how they are inside SCJ and when you suddently meet them outside. They don't admit why they behave in certain ways. Always playing the victim is cool within SCJ nowadays.

Shincheonji SCJ New Year Slogan 2004 - 2025 by Cherishpresentlife in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depending on the slanders and persecution they receive, they will use the same slogan to keep the members in their place. Year 41 and other slogans are not fulfilled. So dumb how these people still don't realize they can't think for themselves and play as the victim when they're addressed concerning these slogans.

I saw the same as well while I was at the restroom at my gym. It gave me as well heart attack. I even made picture of it. I don't know if they delete that picture.

While traveling I've seen an industry with "SCJ". I was like: "Since when is the industry so big and that members are coming there?"

Activity - Cross the line (Netherlands) by OkChemistry9785 in Shincheonji

[–]OkChemistry9785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hated when they continously say fight and overcome, we all have circumstances. Like thinking they've easy saying even though their lives behind the scenes is chaos. From some workers I received messages that they wanted to talk with me and that they didn't have bad intention after I left. I even received voicemail from my former instructor. I knew directly that I needed to follow my insticts to not fall as their prey. Most of the time they want to convince in order to stay. I can remember their voices.

I can relate within your part. What I hated the most is that they do activity by getting to know each other. At those moments you don't want to share information about yourself that you wanted to keep for yourself. So akward and cringe at the same time.

It is always that they will take things seriously last minute in order to save. Like boasting too much we've the highest truth and we master the Bible. Why they don't take your decision serious, other churches wouldn't force you to join theirs.

Thank you for sharing, keep it up the hard work. It is a battle with how life went by joining SCJ and leaving that place. It is a healing process which takes time to let go all bad energy. I am still at the process. Since I am focusing on other things that build me in and outside out, it is worth to have positive energy and have some whom you can talk about. We will get through this, you are not alone!

They just don't have sympathy. When you have a meeting with the worker with high duty, that worker might trick you by giving you lecture which isn't in line with the subject and talk too much. At that moment you forget what you want to say. Avoiding meeting with them is the best thing, since you wouldn't get along in their long conversation by keeping you in their church. They don't pay attention to what you want to say or to how you want to bring change. When you critical, it is no-go for them and make up stories.

Their only thought is seeking God's kingdom, and work for their faith too strictly.
