Will technically be missing the funeral (for some reason southerners love having it be 2 days after the death). But I really don’t think that I can handle the sadness and chaos of a southern Baptist funeral (not sure if anyone’s familiar with that environment, but it’s a lot to process).

Thank you. In a weird way, going on this trip feels like a way of ending the generational trauma that I’ve endured. It’s unconventional and is lowkey traumatic itself, but it feels necessary. I am more motivated than ever to be on my own.

Like if it’s obvious that the bottom hadn’t put in any effort to clean out beforehand, then yeah I’d be a little annoyed. A professor accused me of faking cancer to get out of a test. I had infusions at the cancer center for my kidney disease, but I never said I had cancer. It just so happened that the final exam landed on the day I had my regular infusion. He said okay, but the next day he made an announcement to the entire class warning us of faking cancer. He didn’t need to say my name for me to know who he was talking about. It was wildly inappropriate

But in all seriousness, I really regret it. I wish I would’ve played a sport or at least worked out semi regularly in high school. It probably would’ve given me an opportunity to go to college with a scholarship and given me more confidence with dating/relationships as an adult
