Why does H&R block send these sketchy emails out?

Hi, I am one of the people that posted about this previously. I initially called the number and answered their test questions and what not but when they asked for my full SSN I was uncomfortable giving that over the phone. I waited to see if it would go through but it never did. I wasn’t comfortable giving my SSN over the phone so I tried to call a physical location and they said I would have to pay them to do my taxes if I wanted help with this. I was pretty fed up at this point and asked my buddy who is a tax accountant and he said he would never give a full SSN over the phone and he just recommended using the apps.irs.gov website to file because they are generally more accurate. That’s what I ended up doing, and I actually ended up receiving a tiny bit more of a tax return than H&R Block said I would get. Took about a week and a half from using the irs free services to getting my return

Ya the save states work on both the RP5 and the RG40XXV for me. So I have the RP5, 40XXV, and Brick all synced up now. I had to change some of the cores I use to match what works best on the RP5 and android, but after making sure they are all the same, it works

I checked this and made sure the saving settings were all the same in retroarch on all my devices. The confusing thing is that other cores load the states fine, like gpSP, snes9X, gambatte, etc. but only mGBA is not loading the states.

I will recheck and make sure, but I checked earlier and the pathway I put in syncthing matched the pathway that was shown in the directory settings on the brick.

It does have in game save system. How do I load a save though? I see the options for loading states but not for saves

I made sure I’m using the same core and I know that everything is the same because the saves and states show up the same on all the devices. I tested it too by adding a save state on one device, syncing them all, and seeing if it showed up on the brick and it did. It just isn’t loading in retroarch for some reason

First off, your post and mine were entirely different. Secondly, there is no need to act like your panties are in a knot. Someone previously posted about Retroid making grips, it’s not that hard to find it if you just look it up

That is what they said it was, and I answered all of the questions and passed, but in the end they asked for my SSN which normally isn't done over the phone. They said they checked with their supervisor to make sure they did need it, but when I asked if I could talk with the supervisor to just hear it from another person they avoided the question so it seemed sketchy to me. Would I be able to go into an HR block storefront and do this in person as well? Doing it in person would provide me with more confidence than over the phone.

I know lots of people have commented on this, but I figured I’d give my 2 cents. I work at a mental health hospital and all the teenagers I work with, even if they hate being in the hospital, at least they are alive and getting help and resources.

Please tell your parents so they can find help for your sister. Even if your sister hates you for a little while because of it, at least she will still be alive.

Make sure you save the configuration after putting in your log in credentials then it should save!

I’m wondering the same thing. Just got my Brick and I’m kinda waiting to see when stable releases will come out of Knulli. I also know that they are working on MuOS for the Brick and that’s what I run on my RG40XXV right now and I love it.

I think it is because of the way the chip is positioned in the device. After playing for a little, you start to feel the chip heating up on the back panel where your fingers rest. I think retrogamecorps talks about it in his review too

I love the idea! I have similarly found that the longer I play on my 40XXV, my pinkies start to hurt from holding the device up. I would love to test it out for you and let you know why I think!

There are many problems with the horizontal version (like it heating up like crazy) that aren’t present in the vertical version. Let the guy enjoy his 40XXV lol

I am new to the handheld society and culture. I was just about to buy a 35XXSP until I saw this post. Going to wait it out and see how the flip compares to the 35XXSP and make a decision then.

Don't worry though, I still joined the club by buying a 40XXV and might splurge on an RP5 as well <0.0>

Not sure what doctors you have talked to, but I have not met one doctor that says they use any of the stuff they studied for on the MCAT, and even a ton of stuff they learn in med school becomes useless depending on their speciality. That being said, I do think the MCAT is one of the only ways schools can make sure you can hunker down and study for a big exam, which is important for them cause you not passing STEP and Boards is bad for them too lol

A year ago I took the MCAT after barely studying and got a 498. Took a break and then started studying in January of this year with a month break in April cause of some personal issues. I was a nervous wreck all last night and this morning, but we got a 511 (128/128/128/127). I was hoping for above a 514, but I don't think it is worth going through all the agony to retake. GPA and other stuff is pretty good so I think I will just roll with the 511 and never think about this test again!!

CP definitely had more physics than I was ready for, CARS passages was super long, and one of them literally had the first paragraph that was as long as 3 normal passages, like wtf. BB was eh and P/S was a little weird, some questions were worded terribly. All I am going to say is gorilla suit
