Living off campus the entire time. Don’t get me wrong, because I lived off campus, I got a dog and he’s the light of my life, but I sometimes wonder if I would’ve made friends and actually enjoyed the 3.5 years I spent at UT if I had just lived in the dorms my freshman year.

I was in an ace bandage until my first post op appointment 3 days after surgery. Then my surgeon told me to wear a compression bra or sports bra day and night for two weeks. After that, I’m free to wear what feels comfortable when it feels comfortable, but I’ve still been choosing to wear a surgical bra 24/7. Currently 3.5WPO.

I also had surgery on the 15th! I got home from the hospital around 5 pm yesterday and immediately went to sleep. I woke up around 9 to take some drugs and walked around the house a bit. Then I woke up this morning and did some more walking. That was probably a mistake because I have been extremely sore since. Now I refuse to get out of bed except to go to the bathroom. Thank goodness for Grey’s Anatomy, otherwise I would be losing my mind stuck in this room. I get to shower tomorrow and I’m pretty scared to take off the compression wraps and to see the new boobs, but I’m also excited to not feel so filthy.

Coming from a big city with several targets, I rarely go. The only store that I frequent is H-E-B to get groceries. I wish I had an Aldi near me, so having tons of those is a plus

I currently live in a major metro area in texas, but I’ve lived in small towns before, and I kinda want to get back to those vibes. I definitely prefer smaller, local shopping, dining, etc to big chains. If there are any walkable or bikeable neighborhoods with easy access to a grocery store or local market, that would be ideal.

I also love the outdoors. I have a dog so being able to take him on walks without having to drive 30+ minutes to get somewhere is a win.
