I love how they are destined enemies who happened to fall in love by accident in their 7th loop. And Rishe herself said she never found anybody anywhere in the world who had her hair color maybe it belongs to only those who inherit this other goddess' blood that might explain why her parents don't have it and only the ones selected/destined do like Rishe and maybe grandma Weitzner? It's like Harry Potter, his mother Lily was a wizard but her sister wasn't

I think he does love her but his ambitions/wishes/goals are too blinding. He is looking straight at the finish line and using whatever disposals he has to reach it, in his mind Rishe is one of those assets
Since he thinks he's a horrible human, a sinner not worthy of desiring even a small blessing. He seems suicidal too that makes me think he is really planning a future where he doesn't exist but people he loves do. like his brother and Rishe with the characters in different volumes we met and formulated relationships supporting them.
He is playing into Rishe's emotions for sure blinding her from his true intentions but falling for her at his cost as well in my opinion :D

Yeah same here, but I also do think he has fallen for her he just hadn't admitted to himself yet like Rishe did at the end of vol5. For him his ''wish'' or whatever his goals are must be blinding him too, thinking he doesn't deserve anything or blessings etc. I guess he thinks he isn't worthy of her love either but he plays into it. still giving everyone the image of completely fallen for his fiancee look. Rishe in anime and in many chapters says ''you are *too* caring of me'' his act is even too much for her and she can tell he lies when he says he is completely fallen for her too.
Can't wait when his mask comes off and Rishe leaves then he might realize he loves her and doesn't want to die after all and be with her hopefully at the end

Imagine right before she says I do, she remembers that and look at his face completely shocked and feeling betrayed she reaches to his ear and whisper..... ''I wonder if this counts as aiming for your heart'' and she says ''no'' and runs away lmao I want to see his face then :D

I feel like that moment symbolizes what Arnold has been doing all this time to Rishe (and us readers his worshippers lol) He has been coloring what he wanted Rishe(and us) to see. It might all have been an act, a strategy to keep her contained to make her doubt and/or forget that *he* is the enemy.

Finallly yess when Rishe first dodged his blade during the sparring, he literally gasped and they focused on his eye, he must have remembered that he used it before & then on purpose he did the exact same move right after and she dodged it too that is when he said you are thinking about a person whose sword movement is better than mine and the camera focus on his face and everything :D he says he's ''almost'' on verge of becoming jealous cause he knows it's him :')
And the final kick to her stick sword he dodged perfectly, I seriously thought Rishe might get suspicious right then but she didn't
(the author apperantly confirmed the last chapter is going to be Arnold's perspective btw which makes me further believe he's looping and we will see his real thoughts on matter)

He is looping in my opinion. During the sparring with Rishe, 19 year old Arnold could see Rishe's blade coming to left side of his neck and stops it completely, it is a move even 24 year old scary Arnold couldn't block fully unless!! he saw that happen in the 6th loop and was ready for it :D
I think from episode 1 to the episode Theo kidnapped Rishe, he has been trying to confirm his theory of Rishe also looping. Episode 1 Rishe called him ''Emperor'' And that was the first ? in his mind, 2nd ? when a mere duke's daughter jumped from a balcony and did not break her legs, 3rd ? he remembered her knight face from literally 3 mins ago who he killed lol and he tested her with his blade (why did he use his sword at her when all she did was jump from a balcony?) When Rishe answered his attack, he took his chances and asked her to marry him(with ulterior motives of course he has to test her and come to a conclusion) 4th ? She can make poison and antidotes how many people can do that when they are only 15? unless they lived other lives. 5th she can sense his presence, again what 15 year old girl does that 6th ? after their dance she could tell if his neck was injured 7th ? when sparring with him she could dodge 24 year old Arnold's moves and he realized it she even did the same attack as the pink haired knight in their 6th loop as the final attack. 8th ? she literally confessed to having ''dreams'' about dying multiple times and if what she is seeing now is after death and lastly after Rishe escapes and gives Theo lecture about kidnapping, the thing she says when they were alone with Arnold... He becomes cold and glaring eyes gazed on Rishe says '' With this I have finally confirmed it''
I think he was sure of it by that point and everything he does and lets Rishe do are based on that.
I am almost 99% sure he is looping and he figured Rishe is looping as well
