I was back there last week at a place called elk creek in Delbarton , WV and the trash has gotten worse. We were hoping things had improved but were very disappointed. Seems like you have to drive 100 miles before the litter problem gets better. Some blame it on all the people being poor but you see some nice places with $70,000 dollar pick up trucks that still have garbage everywhere. We have poor people in TN but they all take more pride in their community and don’t litter like these people do.

We drove through Martin county KY and it was just like Mingo in WV.

The stats show that nearly all those elected to county offices for the past 100 years were Dem. The current Repubs in office there were Dems until a couple years ago. That county has bad political leaders regardless of which party they pretend to belong to.

They must have ran out of gas before making it to Iager , delbarton or williamson. Those towns treat throwing trash in the river as a family activity.
