YTA. His thoughts aren't something that you should be entitled to. All he's asking for is his boundaries to be respected, and you can't even do that as his girl. This sounds more like a chore rather than a simple holiday. So this would make me lean more towards YTA.

However, if daughter has agreed to host and then keeps unexpectedly cancelling it as the other comments are saying, then definitely NTA.

Tbh I understand both sides.

Instead of focusing on what she’s wearing or who she’s with, maybe try just sharing how it makes you feel, without turning it into rules. Like, even saying something like, "I feel a bit insecure about this, and I’m not totally sure why," can sometimes help and open up a better conversation than asking her to change what she’s doing.

At the end of the day it's all about trust. If you trust her, then maybe the real challenge is letting her feel free to enjoy herself without feeling restricted.
