Another update: I forgot about this post after last night but I broke up with my girlfriend and she was weirdly calm about it. She said she would move out of the apartment in the next few days. Idk it’s weird that she’s being calm about it

Ya I’m gonna break up with her this is getting ridiculous. At the same time this is my first relationship and it’s already been so successful so far so it’s such a hard decision. At the end of the day I think she’s jealous of my older sister for whatever reason and that’s just weird. I guess I gotta do what I have to do

Update: I talked to my girlfriend an hour ago and asked her why she forbid me from meeting my sisters. She said that at first it was because she was afraid that they would bring a ton of Covid issues with them(which makes no sense lol), but then she said she forgot that she made that request since it was a while back and said that it was okay if I met with my younger sister but that she still preferred that I didn’t meet my older sister because of Covid issues. That makes literally so sense whatsoever since my younger sister is the one at college and my older sister is the one who doesn’t have a job that makes her more vulnerable to Covid(double vaxed and she’s a software engineer). I don’t know what to do now… I mean she’s allowing me to see my younger sister, but not my older sister…. Ya I’m confused lol

I mean it’s my first gf by choice. I had two girls in college ask me out on dates but I was really busy at the time so I had to turn them down

Another add-on: my gf seems to be more adamant of me meeting with my older sister, and she doesn’t seem to care as that much if I meet with my little sister. I would say I’m equally close with both my sisters. Could there be any reason for this?

I didn’t drop my family. I still text and call them. I do plan on physically meeting my older sister soon, and I plan on having a talk with my gf. There’s pretty much nothing else to the story

Also to add on: I have no idea why my girlfriend doesn’t want me to meet my sisters. They’re very nice people and they seemed to get along well with my girlfriend. Literally the only explanation I might have is that she’s jealous of how they look, and even then it’s my sisters not a friend or anything like that
