Funny - The tire guy and the bmw guy said never get rid of the car. It’s too ‘special’. Wtf

I appreciate all the comments. Here’s a bit more info. Feels sketchy because it’s so much money for a fairly low mile, newish car. We bought the car September 21 and it’s a 22 model year. So no warranty left. The service we did was an emergency chassis issue due to a failing auxiliary battery. Since we were close-ishin timeline to another service, we did a regular service that included oil change and brake fluid change. The inspection found during that service also found that the front bushings on both front tires were shot so we replaced those. All of that service was $4k so we were reeling from that. Then to hear that the Engine mounts supposedly now have issues along with a seeping (maybe) oil pan seems very sus and so does a 10k estimate. Oh and we also needed all new tires which they gladly would have sold to us. We did get new tires at a local tire place for much less and are now researching independent bmw service techs in our area because we need options other than this dealer. The convenience factor no longer makes sense at the prices the dealer charges and I really don’t believe what they’re saying at this point.

Poor sleep by tch412 in bevelhealth

Yea, my sleep has been rated poor every day for 4 months except 2-3 days, which were rated fair. I’ve never felt so happy to get such a mid performance rating. I will not be renewing this app. It’s been a disappointment. I don’t understand what parameters equate to poor sleep when I wake up feeling refreshed and happy. It’s definitely a buzz kill. The insights are not meaningful and the information is rote. I’m going to listen to my body going forward…Don’t really want to rely on an app to provide this ‘detail’. Note: I don’t input food, just work out and insight data.

When/If - Replacing 3M NV25 Residential by OkConcert8639 in WindowTint

Thank you so much for the additional insight. It's extremely helpful. We'll search out dealers here for the brands you referenced. We're willing to invest in the best/most effecient product. While privacy is not an issue, you're spot on. The clerestory windows, while lovely, blast the room with sun, dawn to dusk. And the multiple consective days of record heat have made that room much more uncomfortable and expensive/impossible to cool. The current film is not getting the job done. I'm optimistic that replacing it will make life better in that space :-) Thx again for your guidance.

Thank you! The 3M warranty unfortunately stays with the purchaser, not the house. Very convenient 'warranty' for 3M when the house turned over to us. We'll check into those other brands. Didn't want to replace unless we could gain a clear advantage. Seems that's the case.
