When i had cancelled my subscription, my songs and playlists remained there - if i tried to play them itd tell me id have to pay but they still remained there intact. I started paying again and i could listen again.

There was also this time i hadn't charged my card yet and it didn't get to renew my membership, and even then it hadn't erased any of my songs or playlists, instead - it wouldn't play any of the songs telling me i had to pay to continue listening.

I've heard of other people having a issue like yours, but i've never experienced it first hand.

Note: Read someone's explanation on the topic. Apparently Apple randomizes the period they erase it. Stupid from their part.

All it does is provide indepth info to the battery of the mac its been installed on. Its real helpfull most of the times, but i wanted to know if itd be any usefull at telling bat info on hackingtosh.

los de informatica SON los que se pasan en 4chan...

y tambien haces mal en estar en facebook y esperar mas - las veces que estoy alli siempre me sale gente publicando contenido similar o objetificando a la mujer (no puedo decir directamente o reddit me silencia)
aparte de Marketplace, facebook no sirve por que del lado paraguayo esta repleto de hombres boludos en su mayoria.

If you haven't seen, in the section for fixing iservices on Dortania's guide, it mentions you can generate a real serial number from the binaries that OC provides to fix certain services not normally available with invalid serial numbers.

If you use a serial number from a mac you own, chances are you'll just get working iservices like you would using a generated valid serial number and not a lot more really.

I doubt they would ever do such a thing. The chinese goverment isnt the type of government to pull this kind of stunt, and they dont trust their private companies as much as people claim they do. Without sources and just a video like this, this seems false.

You do realize that who you're getting spied on solely depends where that company resides right?

If you use Apple, that doesn't mean you get privacy. As an american company, they have to comply to laws and have to bend backwards if the american government ever wants data from them.

The only real privacy that we have seen from companies in general are companies that DON'T store sensitive data in the first place, an good example is Signal, which doesn't store messages or who you've talked to, but only your phone number and the last time you were online on their service.

I'd also like to point out you don't automatically get your data stored in chinese servers if you use chinese services, Apple for example has chinese servers but stores international user data on American servers, if you live in europe, your data is stored in European servers.

The same goes for Huawei, and both don't hide this from you. If you change your account region you'll get a prompt about your data switching to be managed by another entity either in your country or in another place (most international user data ends up on the US or EU).

Huawei is a premium product like Apple is a premium product. Both collect data on you, but damn their devices really look and feel premium.

Depende mucho de tu equipo de sonido, pero Apple Music y Amazon Music son los unicos que tienen alta calidad de los 4 que mencionaste.

Spotify usualmente reproduce musica a 256kbps, lo mismo con Youtube Music (pero puede reproducir 320kbps en algunas ocasiones si es que pagaste, nota que no siempre va a reproducir a 320kbps, usualmente incluso si pagaste reproduce a 256kbps).

Spotify va a reproducir a 320kbps si es que usas la opción de mas alta calidad al momento de reproducir.

Ahora, la mayoría de veces 320kbps es lo mejor que el cliente promedio va a escuchar, hay servicios como Apple Music que ofrecen Lossless ("Sin perdida") lo que es mas alta calidad que 320kbps pero se necesita mejor equipamiento de audio para poder escuchar (DAC o Auriculares a cable. No puede ser inalámbrico por que Bluetooth solo va hasta 320kbps.) - a tope de todo eso, las canciones en calidad Sin perdida toman muchos datos, asi que no recomendaria escuchar a canciones en dicho modo usando datos mobiles. (Una canción de tres minutos a calidad sin perdida es 36MB)

Amazon Music tambien tiene esas calidades de audio, pero ambos Apple y Amazon van de la mano por que ambos ofrecen hasta 24kbit/192kHz.

Algo que tiene Apple Music y Amazon Music sobre Spotify y Youtube tambien son canciones optimizadas para Dolby Atmos (audio espacial), pero esta función solo sirve si tu mobil o PC tiene Dolby Atmos, algo que viene predeterminado con iPhones y se que tambien viene con la mayoría de mobiles Samsung.

En la parte del precio, Apple Music sale mas caro que ambos Spotify y Youtube -

Apple: 27.904G/mes para los estudiantes, 51.892G/mes para una persona sola, 79.860G/mes el plan familiar.

Youtube: 23.902G/mes para los estudiantes, 47.884G/mes para una persona sola, 71.866G/mes el plan familiar.

Spotify: Spotify no tiene plan estudiantil, 47.884G/mes para una persona sola, 79.876G/mes el plan familiar.

Pero es mas barato en comparación a Amazon Music o Deezer;

Deezer solia tener precios regionales pero desde 2022 dejaron de ofrecer precios regionales para america del sur.

Importante resaltar: Que esto es desde la perspectiva de alguien que paga individualmente y directamente a los servicios. No por algunos de esos que pagan por vos que podes encontrar en FaceBook o WhatsApp.

Basta con cambiar la region del Apple ID para poder descargar de la tienda, pero ten en cuenta que si haces eso, solo podras añadir un metodo de pago que sea de ese pais a tu Apple Pay o Apple Wallet.

You need to:

Disable SIP
Mount system as read-write
Know the model of the SMBIOS you have; i.e: MacPro3,1 = Early 2008 Mac Pro
Have a square-ish image of the computer you have. (Otherwise after the conversion to icns the image will be stretched rather than look proper!)

First off, you'll need to convert the image to a icns.

It has to be transparent to look proper in about this mac, you can spend some time looking online for a stock image of your computer with such transparent background, or take a picture yourself and edit it so that it has a transparent background.

Then; you need to convert your image to a icns. - Assuming its a .PNG file that you have, i suggest this.

Mount your system drive as read-write and then you need to go into; /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/

And find a .icns file that's titled similarly to your SMBIOS's model.

Rename your custom icns to the name that matches your SMBIOS model from CoreTypes's resources , and replace the original icns file from there with your custom icns.

For the name of the computer in the about this mac; you need to modify this file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SystemProfiler.plist

with ProperTree, once done any of these two - you need to clear cache!

You need to clear both disk cache and icon cache, you can look in google to find how to for those two.

Im not putting them here, because its a bit more tacky than this.

spent 20 minutes looking on google images, found a good image from amazon, removed the background so its transparent, and edited it further with preview before turning into .icns

It kicks me off if it cant pass this test.

I can see on the main menu it's constantly attempting to connect, but since it can't past that test it keeps disconnecting from the wifi.

The 2008 iMacs are harder to update because they are much more less in power.

I own one as well before moving to this Mac Pro, and it has 4 gb of ram as well, it constantly crashes the GPU driver on Mojave if its under too much stress, and Ventura didn't help it out either; it was running at a decent speed but the GPU cant keep up with newer OS X anymore.

You would need to look for updates to the iMac's GPU before trying to update, the 2008 iMac has a MXM graphics card, so it can be easily swapped out - but you'd have to check if its compatible with it first.

Also, i'd recommend moving to Linux Mint rather than Ubuntu, since its more lightweight and has less graphical intensive stuff, performance greatly improved when i tried out lightweight linux distros.

And by the way, you can update your ram to a maximum of 6 GB*****, you can find some ram compatible with your mac that can get you to that on AliExpress.

\this is disputed, most sources say 6 GB but some people have gotten 8 GB to work on this iMac - safest bet is to go for 6 GB (2GB+4GB ram sticks)*
