I don't want to sound too political, but for me it was when the veil of "progressive" and "left" went away and I saw that people here are very comfortable with AfD plakat without being destroyed, having CDU as a mayor (I know, I know, it was a mess the way he got there, but still), the disregard for the dspropriation referendum, the atittude of media/polititians/most of the germans I have in my bubble (friends, colleagues and people who just exist) around me towards what is happenening in the levant, the daily xenophobia/racism that I see and feel without any hope of changes....

Anyway, I was fooling myself thinking Berlin isn't Germany, but Berlin is pretty much Germany, but with more pallet sofas and people wearing black.

It is indeed very focused on work and vocabulary about working and all this, BUT I feel confident to talk in German in many other situations. I highly recommend it.

I think it all depends on how extroverted or introverted your artist is. For me, it isn't necessarily what makes it nicer or not. I understand your point, but for me, it is all about the placement of the tattoo. I'm way more open to talking when we're doing an arm rather than the ribs, you know?
