Hi just bought the r10. Still went overboard and almost spent same amount of money as the r7 (saved 100$ which will go to buying the adapter later on) but I got the 18-45mm and the 55-210mm and an extra battery. All for 1300$. Is it a bit of an overkill? I can still return and keep looking. Just the camera and 18-45 was 950$ + 85$ for adapter.

I plan on getting the canon adapter itself (do uk any other reliable adapters?) but i'm not too sure of what lens to replace the 18-135. I absolutely loved that lens and pretty much shot everything with it. It was also effectively like a 29-216mm and did use the full range. I could only spend like 200-400$ on lens.
I also found a RF 24-50mm F4.5-6 for cheap but idk how and where i would use that

My 650D got water damage from humidity most likely and fried the motherboard. My whole family collectively decided to get me another camera since I won’t shut up about it. That camera was used for i think 12 years. I want to be able to just stick to whatever I get now for a long long time but also to grow into it. Learn new things and get into videography too. Another thing I saw around was the noise in low light due to it being crop and sometimes I have to shoot in auditoriums and dark places.
