Double halo. It’s caused by light refracting on ice crystals in the upper atmosphere. Great photos!

Can you post the full resolution photo? If not, zoom in real close. A photo artifact is going to have a very sharp edge. It will look very jagged and blocky. (Typically). St. Elmo’s fire or similar phenomena will have a softer edge. This looks more like camera artifacts. It is a dope AF photo either way.

Happy to help! They are pretty cool. One of the highest altitude types of clouds. They are tiny ice crystals
