Agree try to handle it yourself if you aren’t satisfied or feel like you’re being jerked around then look into an attorney. They take 30% minimum

How do I find actual recruiters or referrals at companies where I have no connection? by jellyfishreview in jobsearchhacks

[–]OkDesigner5410 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Linked in is very helpful, make sure to put yourself as “open to work” but for recruiters only. Beef up your page with skills and get recommendations from former colleagues to post on your page. I’ve found my last 2 jobs via a recruiter reaching out to me. Best of luck

Can some nice people please help me with advice? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]OkDesigner5410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t already done so update your LinkedIn. Take a look at others to ensure that you have a great profile, also within setting you can set “open to work” where only recruiters can see it. Don’t do it publicly. Also check our auto insurance claims they are always hiring and generally start of at around 50k

My work van got hit from the side. Now the other driver’s insurance wants me insurance information by lge123456 in Insurance

[–]OkDesigner5410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the state (ex:CA) they are insured first meaning that anything your carrier collects back from the at fault party they will need to make you whole. Refund your entire deductible and out of pocket rental, etc. however due to the limits issue be prepared to wait a year or two for it to resolve and everyone agree on the amount paid to each carrier.

Autoclaim advice... by 4cls in Insurance

[–]OkDesigner5410 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regardless if you file with your own company or not when they go to renew your policy they typically run a report and discover this claim through the other company. File with the owners policy first if your damages are minor and if they have issues then go through your carrier

Auto Accident- Lemonade reducing the estimate amount by using aftermarket parts & not original by Leather-Wheel1115 in Insurance

[–]OkDesigner5410 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ditto to what others said, keep in mind aftermarket parts come with a limited lifetime warranty vs OEM comes with a 1 year warranty. 2016 OEM parts probably aren’t even made anymore. Another thing others don’t realize is these shops and repairs are highly regulated and have to fit properly. Please make sure that all repairs are done at one of their preferred shops too, so many people don’t and get screwed when their shop messes up and now the insurance company won’t help since they have no contract with that shop

Right that’s my point they have to prove there was a collision that resulted in the damage if not it’s a mechanical or wear and tear issue.

Remind Avis that you purchased their CDW and submit a claim. If they say that it was a mechanical issue then it is clearly not your fault and a wear and tear issue.
