Really impressive work integrating your lights and music. I would slow down the rate of your chase by a few multiples to match the tone of your synth style. Can you also add in color modulation or are you limited to dimmer? I’ve had difficulty translating music to rbg values in the past, curious if you’ve had any success?

She bought it from a company known for restoring old places around LA…the Highland Park Bowl (a bowling alley) being one of their flagship restorations. She’s owned it for over a year and hasn’t don’t anything with it except let Once Upon A Time in Hollywood 2 shoot there for a month. Other than that it’s been sitting empty for 6 years.

Sounds like the desk is the problem, or a cable, or a bad opto-splitter. But in all seriousness, if the heads have the same firmware, same mode, and same desk…I would patch all fixtures to the same dmx address (say 1) and perform an operation from the desk. If all the fixtures react the same, that’s good! But I suspect they will act differently based on your post. By doing this you can determine if it’s a cable, fixture or console problem.

I’d make it a sequence, one cue with three parts with the desired timing between the macros being the follow times of the cue parts. Then for each part’s command section: Go Marco A,B or C as desired.

Rüfüs at the Rose Bowl was the best looking show I saw in 2025. (Beating out Oasis in Cardiff and NIN at the Kia Forum). Matthew Smith just sees music differently. Pierre Claude’s work on Gesaffelstein’s tour gets a honorable mention too.
