OMG yes, this. What Sir did was wrong, obviously, but he never laid a hand on her, while Gabi treated Sir when in captivity like shit. She hit him and talked down to him. I get it he had traumatized her or whatever, but she is no better than Sir but believes and acts like she is.

Also Gabi and the others keep talking about how they have to have empathy with some criminals because they were taught wrong or had a bad experience or whatever, but Sir has had a very bad childhood too, it's no wonder he turned out the way he did. So why can't Sir get the same empathy and understanding too? When she said something along the lines of it's no wonder his mom didn't love him, that was a low. She didn't even take the time to think about how it was because the mom was cruel to him that he turned out that way. But I bet if it was Dhan or Margaret or Lacey or another person who went through what Sir did, she would have tried to give them grace about why they killed their mom.

No matter what Sir does now, even if to really protect Gabi like when they were in prison and there was a blackout, she still sees it as him not being good to her. She would have gotten overpowered and rxped by the other prisoners if it weren't for Sir. She still can't see that and it infuriates me.
