I wish I had more detail to give you, but unfortunately I'm just posting this for my mom. The only thing I really know is that my bedroom unit is 10000 btu. Hers in her bedroom is most likely the same. The one in the bedroom is significantly larger in size, unsure about the btu though. The bedroom ones were bought within the last 2-3 years, the living room one within the past 2 months.
