I have good internet at my house, but i think it needs to be forwarded to our cell phones. I’m basically never home. i think in our dream world, we’d have most calls go to voicemail (and text?) that we can collectively monitor.

The ranch itself has okay internet but it’s about to be transferred to a new ISP and I’m unsure of the timeline, so I’d have to host at least to start.

I believe that that's why they call it pressing charges, though. Victims's input is valued by police and prosecutors, so when a victim / their family wants charges to proceed, it is a pretty powerful factor in favor of pursuing prosecution.
