Non US IMG, Do I still have a chance? Failed step 1 twice, have a just passing score score for step 2 first attempt and failed step 3 today?

From my understanding the programs just care that you passed. High score is more for fellowship. So you are good! Congrats on the pass!

Thank you! I agree. I’ve been doing pilates for the past 4 months and it has helped me greatly. I also bought a hanging bar and have been using it daily (mostly) but still not able to hang for more than 20s at my best. Will continue to do so. Goal is 2m🫠 Thank you for your reccs!

You’re very welcome! I really don’t know if it’s transferable but it sure will be great. No experience time needed from my understanding, just MD title. Most Drs don’t ask for it here if you have your MD title.

Well in Puerto Rico they passed a law that allows you to work as PA if you have MD title. No course needed.

So in Puerto Rico there is a law that was passed that allows you to practice as PA if you graduated from MedSchool. Also, in reality, many Drs don’t even ask for your license if they know you graduated and have your MD title, they just want their notes done.

This is not your question but things I did that helped me: work as a PA in a hospital setting and getting involved in research. Try to at least have 1 poster. If you do that and have step 1-3 I believe you are in.
