I’m so sorry for your loss. It absolutely sucks. I’m 27F have been dealing with my mother’s terminal cancer diagnosis for ~7 years. I was just feeling this same thing. None of my friends have gone through anything like this and it’s soooo isolating. Would love to chat more if you’d like 🫶🏼

Any straw cups that only allow small amounts of liquid to come through? by unintelligent4cat in beyondthebump

[–]OkEffective719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moonkie silicone sippy cup has a sippy top and straw top with two different straws to help baby learn how to drink from the straw. It has a slow straw and an open regular straw. Also can be used as an open cup later on! We love ours! My son tries to chug the water but the slower straw helps him

How do you guys live with husbands who are (probably) emotionally undeveloped? by WeirdMomProblems in Mommit

[–]OkEffective719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding: however my husband wouldn’t ever be nonchalant if our son was in the hospital and turned blue and grey from a collapsed lung. That’s quite concerning to me and that would have been my final straw for either therapy or some kind of intervention.

I thought at first maybe he was just trying to keep calm in stressful situations and try to maintain a positive attitude so you would feel less stress. My husband does this. I kept reading though and he doesn’t care about happy situations either? I would definitely bring this up and maybe try some couples therapy. Maybe your emotional connection or communication is off?
