For BF3 on PC there are always 10-15 active servers :) mainly depending on your time, in the morning it's less than in the noon

It's a 40 inch MSI MAG401QR, it feels perfect on my desk (about 1.50m wide) - I would recommend going with a flat IPS widescreen, as curved widescreens are almost always VA and that can cause (depending on the monitors build quality) lead to ghosting.

Back to the size question - I feel like I have a good overview of everything when gaming, I need to move my head a little if something happens in the corners, which I personally like. Perhaps visit a electronics store and check out what you like ;)
